Responsibilities

  • The RN functions as a clinical support professional who identifies changes in patient condition, communicates findings to the treating provider, and implements ordered care.
  • This role focuses on safe execution of nursing skills, patient monitoring, documentation accuracy, and collaboration with the care team to support efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.

Requirements

  • Required: Active RN license in good standing
  • Skills: Strong critical thinking, quick decision-making, crisis management, and the ability to work under high pressure
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS certification
  • proficient in IV insertion (all ages), indwelling urethral catheter placement (Foley, Coudé), IV fluid and medication administration, Medication administration and patient monitoring

Nice to have

  • Minimum of 5+ years of clinical nursing experience in emergency department, or critical care nursing strongly preferred

Skills

  • Proficiency in splinting, wound care, suture removal, and assisting with minor procedures
  • Experience with point-of-care testing (POCT)
  • Experience with phlebotomy
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Clinical Judgment: Ability to assess and respond to medical emergencies effectively
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Teamwork: Collaborates effectively with emergency and healthcare teams
  • Technology: Familiarity with medical equipment and electronic documentation
