  • Summary The Construction Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing the human resources operations within the construction division of Green Valley Construction.

Responsibilities

  • We're looking for an experienced and Human Resources Manager to lead our HR efforts, ensuring that our team thrives in a safe, compliant, and engaging work environment.
  • This role ensures that the organization retains and develops a skilled workforce while maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.
  • Manage and lead the full-cycle recruitment process for construction workers, Office staff, and management staff.
  • Work closely with management to understand workforce needs and develop effective hiring strategies.
  • Develop and implement training programs that address skill gaps, safety standards, and compliance requirements in the construction industry/real estate industry.
  • Manage the performance appraisal process for construction staff, offering guidance and support to supervisors and managers.
  • Develop and implement strategies for employee development and succession planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a construction or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices specific to the construction industry.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and safety compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • The ability to work in a construction environment, which may involve exposure to outdoor elements and construction sites.
  • Occasional travel to various job sites may be required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and maintain a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work alternating weekends

  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
