About the role

The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life seeks a motivated, engaged, student-centered professional to serve as Assistant Director.
Serve as the primary advisor to chapter presidents for 16 organizations and their executive boards, standards boards, recruitment teams, and related committees and programs, in collaboration with other Fraternity and Sorority Life staff.
Supervise, train, educate, and evaluate Graduate Assistants, providing ongoing mentorship, professional development, and functional oversight.

Provide leadership and management support for the University's social fraternities and sororities, with a primary focus on the Interfraternity Council (IFC), while supporting all governing councils as needed.
Coordinate and support fraternity recruitment and membership processes in partnership with student leaders.
Manage and oversee fraternity and sorority life signature programs, including the FSL Excellence Awards, STANDKind harm reduction series, and leadership initiatives such as B.R.I.D.G.E., FLE, and ENGAGE.
Develop and maintain print, web, and social media content related to fraternity and sorority life initiatives and communications.

Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration, College Student Personnel or relatable field

(2) Two year professional fraternity and sorority advising experience.
Strong knowledge of fraternity and sorority life systems.
Commitment to student development.
Demonstrated leadership, supervision, and crisis management skills.
Working Conditions:
Standard office environment with occasional evening or weekend hours required for events or special projects.
