- This role is responsible for analyzing and recording revenue accrual and re-accrual entries with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting accurate and timely financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Analyze monthly revenue data, including production volumes and pricing, to support accrual and re-accrual processes
- Reconcile revenue accruals to actuals and investigate variances, including support for PPA analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate revenue reporting
- Support team members as needed to meet reporting objectives
- Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BBA or BS) in Accounting or Finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., XLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables)
- Strong understanding of revenue accounting and general accounting principles
Nice to have
- Demonstrated experience driving process improvements and implementing efficiencies
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work assignments
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to quickly learn new systems and concepts
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
