About the role
- As part of the talented Freedom Boat Club team (the nation's oldest and largest private member boat club), you will be working with a team of Dock Staff on our varied fleet of boats, as a key role of a Fleet Maintenance Dock Hand!
- This individual should also be able to demonstrate basic customer service skills, as the role will interact on a regular basis with our members.
- This position is temporary/seasonal (ends in October/November), full-time approximately 40 hours per week, and requires availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and perform light maintenance on vessels
- Own the process of entering and updating the Fleetio software
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Support team to reach common goals
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to utilize a tablet and the Fleetio software
- Must be a self-starter and capable of working unsupervised
Nice to have
- Fleet maintenance background
- Boating experience in and around boats
- Proven experience using applications
- High attention to detail
