This is a business-facing data stewardship role focused on coaching, stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and coordination-not software development, architecture, or IT engineering.

8 years of experience with data management principles, data quality concepts, and data stewardship processes.
8 years of experience serving as the primary client contact with responsibility for relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and customer-focused delivery.
8 years of experience communicating effectively both verbally and in writing, facilitating group discussions, and guiding non-technical stakeholders.
8 years of experience creating or improving data dictionaries, business rules, or similar governance documentation.
8 years of experience coordinating activities across multiple divisions while managing priorities and maintaining organized documentation.
8 years of experience working in data governance, data stewardship, or a similar business-facing data management role.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator who can guide business stakeholders through structured data stewardship processes while serving as the primary liaison between agency divisions and the Data Program.

Familiarity with Collibra or other enterprise data governance platforms.
Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and other standard productivity tools.
Compensation This is a 1099 Contract opportunity.
Physically reside within the United States for the duration of the assignment.
