About the role

  • BrainChild Bio Analytical Development team is seeking to hire a Senior Research Associate to add to our growing team.
  • The Senior Research Associate will participate in routine analytical testing to enable process development and process characterization of early- to late-stage CAR-T manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with experimental execution in support of molecular assay development and qualification, including ddPCR/qPCR-based methods.
  • Perform routine molecular analytics (e.g., ddPCR) and provide data in a timely manner to support process studies.
  • Support development and execution of lentiviral vector characterization assays for process development and process characterization activities.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of industry experience in a life sciences laboratory.
  • Proficiency with life science data acquisition and analysis tools (Excel, Prism) and ELNs desired.
  • Previous experience with molecular biology techniques (ddPCR/qPCR) and nucleic acid handling is highly desired.
  • A team player with a track record of successfully operating within cross-functional teams.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in molecular biology techniques, particularly droplet digital PCR (ddPCR), and an interest in supporting assay development, qualification, and routine testing.
  • BA/BS in biochemistry, molecular biology, biology, microbiology or related discipline.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting assay development, qualification and/or troubleshooting is a plus.
