About the role

- Empire is located off the coast of NYC and connects the electric grid in Brooklyn, NY.
- For Equinor the Control Room Operator will assist in delivering the KPIs for the Control Center and Operations Department.

- Ability to work in a collaborative environment but able to take responsibility when appropriate to directly support the workforce

Requirements
- You are utilizing your knowledge to independently solve complex tasks with a short-term operational or tactical impact/risk.
- Maintain operator logs and input work orders when required.
- Successfully complete all the training required for the position of Control Room Operator.
Nice to have
- 5+ years as a CRO or in a similar role highly preferred but will consider candidates from an operator environment
- Existing utility/power generation experience or experience from similar environments
- High voltage experience is desirable
- Wiling to make decisions in stressful situations
