About the role

  • We are looking for a Product Development, Non-Apparel Intern to join the KHAITE team for this Fall '26 Semester.
  • This role will report to the Senior Product Developer, Non-Apparel and will be based out of the NYC HQ offices.
  • This internship is unpaid and for college credit only.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sample launches, ensuring all necessary materials and information are prepared for development partners in Italy
  • Help update and maintain design boards with the latest product information, including style names, material swatches, color references, Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Organize samples for fittings as well as maintain working space organized
  • Maintain and organize all incoming and outgoing sample packages
  • Support with product repairs and customer inquiries in coordination with the production and merchandising teams

Requirements

  • Assist with mock-ups, material allocations, and technical documentation required for sample execution
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.

  • Currently enrolled for a Bachelor's Degree

Skills

  • Exceptional attention to details and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving and a sense of urgency
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Education/Experience:
  • Previous experience in production in non-apparel category
  • Proficiency in PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in RLM is a plus
