Responsibilities
- Develops and recommends technical solutions to support client's requirements in solving moderately complex software problems.
- Designs test scenarios for the functional and regression testing of complex software solutions.
- Investigates and resolves software support tickets submitted by end users.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Engage in system design, software development, implementation, training and end user support for one or more clinical applications within the IHS RPMS system
- Software design, development, testing and deployment experience focusing on design and development.
- Analysis and debugging experience of FileMan/M source code in support of the deployed software
- Provide user support, as needed, to resolve issues reported by users for deployed applications
Requirements
- This position requires eight years' experience, of which at least six years must be specialized experience including the design and development of HIT systems.

Skills
- 15+ years of software development experience
- Significant intensive and progressive experience with FileMan/M (MUMPS) programming
- Advanced knowledge of the VA and IHS environments, RPMS or legacy VISTA.
- Understanding of Agile processes and the related QA lifecycle.
