About the role

- We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance (QA) Lab Technician at our Carrington, ND durum milling and pasta production facility, where we produce Dakota Growers pasta.
Responsibilities
- Identify and manage non-conforming products and food safety hazards, ensuring issues are investigated and recommending solutions
- Maintain records, documentation, and retention samples
- Crouch, kneel, stoop, r each above shoulder s, b end, balance, climb, work on ladder, push, pull, grasp, feel, perform fine manipulation, lift/carry (up to 50 pounds), sit, stand and walk for extended periods
Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- H igh school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
- Able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
Nice to have
- Bachelor's d egree in food related field (Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc.), is preferred
- Experience in quality assurance testing is preferred
