About the role
- Outside General Litigator Superior Executive & Legal Recruiting is actively recruiting for a highly professional and experienced civil litigator to assist our client with a variety of employment matters.
- This professional needs to be California licensed and in good standing.
- There is no billing requirement, but this professional should be comfortable billing as any other litigator would.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all aspects of the legal department, including case strategy, motions and briefs, discovery, trial preparation, staffing, budgets and invoices, etc.
Requirements
- Minimum of ten (10) years of general civil litigation experience in a law firm
- experience with California law required. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- superior drafting, analytical, and negotiating skills. -Ability to identify, analyze, and mitigate legal risks
- however, this professional should have familiarity and experience with plaintiff-side as well, having performed significant general counsel responsibilities in a previous role.
- JD degree or equivalent from an accredited law school -Admission to the California State Bar in good standing
