About the role

  • Responsible for coordination of bargaining unit employees and outside contractors performing tasks associated to the Cathodic protection system & the Damage Prevention programs.
  • The supervisor will be responsible for compliance with Federal Code and State Regulations associated to both Damage Prevention and Corrosion Control.
  • Review and communicate program metrics & performance to management team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and communicates corrosion program status and performance reports and maintains records for corrosion inspection, monitoring and identification of remedial activities in the
  • Maintains mandated cathodic protection system data including pipe/soil voltage readings, rectifier, and interference bond operational readings, databases, and other assigned group monitoring activities.
  • Responsible for proper application and availability of all necessary tools and equipment needed to perform corrosion control functions in the group.
  • Supports Gas Field Operations and other departments in pipe jeeping, sparking condition investigations and capital project completion.
  • Manages technical support contractors and consultants.
  • Reviews, maintains, and utilizes SAP equipment data and SAP processes supporting the corporate use of contractor/consultant resources.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required with 10 or more years' relevant experience and the completion of the relevant progression program.
  • Knowledge of gas distribution construction and maintenance
  • Knowledge of industry federal and state regulations
  • Will be required to obtain and maintain Operator Qualifications for natural gas

Compensation

  • Develops and maintains annual inspection and monitoring schedules in accordance with all regulatory requirements. Will recommend remedial actions to restore cathodic protection systems to mandate performance criteria.

  • The salary range for this position is based on experience level ranging from $96,400,000 to $120,500 plus up to 16% bonus
