About the role
- Your work will span power validation across the complete vertical stack - silicon power domains, DVFS flows, power delivery networks, dynamic workload power profiling, and system-level power budgeting.
- Your measurements directly determine operating envelopes, influence architectural trade-offs, and define when silicon is ready for production deployment at AWS data center scale.
- The base salary range for this position is listed below.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in power characterization, power delivery validation, or power architecture verification for high-performance digital systems.
- Strong understanding of DVFS flows, power control schemes, peak power management, and di/dt handling techniques.
- Proficiency with power measurement instrumentation: DC power analyzers, current probes, high-bandwidth oscilloscopes, and VNA/TDR for PDN impedance characterization.
Nice to have
- Experience with power integrity simulation tools (ANSYS RedHawk, Cadence Voltus) and pre-silicon to post-silicon power model correlation.
- Experience with CI/CD.
