About the role

Since its spin-off in September 2025 AUMOVIO continues the business of the former Continental group sector Automotive as an independent company.
The technology and electronics company offers a wide-ranging portfolio that makes mobility safe, exciting, connected, and autonomous.
This includes sensor solutions, displays, braking and comfort systems as well as comprehensive expertise in software, architecture platforms, and assistance systems for software-defined vehicles.

The Communications Specialist will create and edit content designed to promote AUMOVIO's innovations and cutting-edge technology across North America.
This role will partner with other corporate functions and divisions to develop specific program and project communications needs.
This role will create strategic communications plans defining the scope, objectives, messages and channels for publication.
Develop public relations strategies for AUMOVIO in North America.
Manage the public reputation of the company through external communications.
Package, market and deliver communications in ways that are meaningful, relevant, timely and memorable to external audiences and aligns with the Company's brand and business objectives.
Manage media relations including communication with media representatives, preparation of news releases, articles and facilitating media interviews. Build relationships with media contacts to ensure inclusion in industry publications and stories.
Develop opportunities for senior leadership to interact with media. Provide communication support to company executives (including developing presentations and writing speeches as well as briefing materials for events).
Participate in meetings to drive ideas for events and campaigns.
Build relationships with stakeholders, agency partners and colleagues beyond the team.
