Requirements
- Must be a neat, clean individual portraying a positive image to students, staff and community members.
- The ability to work as needed, including day, evening, and weekend hours substituting for absent coworkers.
- The ability to cooperate with students, college personnel, and the community.
- Must have the ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions and apply them effectively to complete custodial tasks.
- Successful completion of a post offer physical capacity assessment and post offer drug screen is required.

- Physical/Work Environment Requirements
- Must possess sufficient eye/hand/foot coordination to operate custodial equipment and tools.
- Working Conditions: Work may occur in both indoor and outdoor environments and may involve exposure to adverse conditions including blood, bodily fluids, tissue, and communicable diseases.
- Must be able to use sound judgment, apply tact and courtesy in challenging situations, and have visual acuity to view a computer terminal as needed.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

- Essential Functions
- Cleaning of buildings includes dusting, cleaning windows, floors, walls, and furniture, restroom fixtures, toilets, sinks, etc.
- Includes the use of custodial supplies and equipment.
- Custodians are responsible for maintaining the interior spaces from the ceiling to the floor.
- Assist other employees as needed.
- Willingness to work days, evenings, and/or weekend hours as necessary.
