About the role

  • Summary of Role: GlobalFoundries Fab 9 (Essex Jct., VT) is seeking a Maintenance Shift Manager (MSM).
  • This is a 12-hour night position on the N2 shift (Wednesday - Friday, every other Saturday).
  • Expected Salary Range $69,000.00 - $120,000.00 The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.

Responsibilities

  • Daily management of technical resources to maintain equipment used in a semiconductor manufacturing line.
  • Drive overall equipment stability to meet critical KPI's (net MT, stability, M-ratio).
  • Organize and drive training to address skills deficiencies on the team. Improve overall cross training of equipment technicians in the department.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians and management on understanding and implementing best practices.
  • This manager will manage & lead the CMP, CVD Novellus and CVD AME Module Maintenance Technicians along with Process Technicians.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical / STEM field
  • 6+ years of experience in semiconductor fabricator.
  • Skills - Technical skills/background within the semiconductor fabricator or similar fabricator for minimum ten years.
  • Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter
  • the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • $69,000.00 - $120,000.00
