Responsibilities

  • Own the monthly close and keep the books clean and audit-ready.
  • Own corporate tax and compliance filings, working with our outside tax partners.
  • Reconcile money movement. We process tens of millions in monthly volume across multiple rails, soon including our own. The numbers tie out, every time.
  • Build financial controls and processes that scale from 30 to 70+ people without adding chaos.
  • Partner with the Head of Finance on reporting and with Ops on tax compliance.
  • Every advance in LLM capability widens our lead.
  • We hire people who ship constantly, own outcomes, and care about craft.
  • If you want to build something that automates an entire category of core work, not just another point solution, this is the place.
  • We're hiring our first Controller to own the books and financial operations of a company that moves real money every day.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in accounting and controllership, ideally including a high-growth startup.

Nice to have

  • Payroll, payments, or fintech background.
  • You've helped a company prep for its first formal audit.
