About the role
- The candidate for this part time position will be scheduled for shifts as needed, filling in for full time staff, adding extra coverage as needed.
Requirements
- Related experience in law enforcement, security, or dispatching
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasked environment.
- Commitment to, experience with, and/or ability to work effectively with a broad spectrum of individuals from a variety of diverse backgrounds
- Candidate must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Strong problem-solving, time-management, and communication skills
- Sensitivity to issues of confidentiality

Skills
- Promptly answers emergency lines, business lines, and multiple college operator lines.
- Monitors fire, intrusion, panic, other alarms, and cameras on campus.
- Activates the college's emergency mass notification system as directed.
- Review logs, postings, training, emails, CJIS output at the beginning and throughout shift.
- Assist officers with community engagement activities.
