About the role

  • Samsung Austin Semiconductor is looking for a motivated Safety Engineer who possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • This position offers the opportunity to work as part of a diverse safety team to help strengthen our safety culture and improve hazard elimination for a world leader in manufacturing technology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs; and advise and educate others.
  • Document and track results to support safety program elements.
  • Conduct incident investigations, site inspections, identify root cause, determine corrective actions, and support implementation.

Requirements

  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices during task performance at a semiconductor facility.
  • Applicants must be authorized to access such information or eligible for government authorization.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with contractor pre-qualification software such as Highwire, Avetta, ISNetworld or similar preferred.

Compensation

  • The current base salary range for this role is between $76,000 - $145,000.
