About the role

  • This is a hands-on technical accounting role at the heart of Redgate's finance function.
  • You'll be the go-to person for technical accounting questions, helping the team stay aligned with best practice.
  • You'll work closely with the Financial Operations team, Financial Controller and the FP&A team, with visibility across group reporting, and external audit.

Responsibilities

  • You'll support month end close, lead on revenue queries, and act as the bridge between our Finance Operations and FP&A teams, balancing statutory rigour with the needs of the wider business.

  • This role gives our Financial Controller a trusted technical accounting partner, someone who can lead on compliance, strengthen our controls, and make sure our financial reporting stays accurate and audit-ready while the business scales.
  • We build solutions that help data professionals securely manage the data and databases their organisations depend on, a space that's only becoming more critical as systems scale, data regulations increase, and AI adoption accelerates.

Requirements

  • You have strong Excel skills, including SUMIFS, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and nested formulae.
  • You have hands-on experience producing monthly management accounts, including profit and loss and balance sheet reconciliations
