About the role
- The Michels Preconstruction Services, Inc. team plays a critical role in the development of large, complex energy, infrastructure, marine and transportation projects.
- Like our field construction teams, our Preconstruction Services team takes into consideration the safety, social and environmental responsibility, and the health and wellbeing of our people and the communities in which we work.
- A Business Administration Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating and overseeing administrative activities of Michels Preconstruction, Inc., while simultaneously assisting the Management team.
Responsibilities
- Manage document control processes, including SharePoint site organization, access permission, document storage standards, and version control to ensure information is accurate, accessible, and appropriately secured.
- Facilitate recurring cost, project status, and utilization reporting tasks to support project and business unit level decision making.
- Identify and implement tools to drive better communication, process management and reporting.
- You deliver exemplary customer service through interactions with others
- The Preconstruction Services team consists of construction and technical professionals working with one another and with customers to develop creative solutions for turning construction ideas into reliable outcomes.
- This position must lead initiatives, drive changes and support on-going improvement across the divisions.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree and or 5+ years of related administrative experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar support role.
- You are organized and professional
- You enjoy collaborating and communicating with your teammates
Nice to have
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
