About the role
- This is an elevated sales position requiring a proven track record of consistent, high-level production, strategic prospecting, and strong closing ability.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts while developing new client relationships
- Partner closely with the Director of Sales to support overall sales strategy and lead generation efforts
- Respond to leads, RFPs, and inquiries with urgency and strategic positioning to maximize conversion
- Maintain accurate sales reporting, forecasting, and CRM documentation
- Collaborate with Revenue Management, Operations, and Events teams to ensure successful execution of booked business
- Support the Director of Sales in driving overall team performance and achieving departmental goals
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Requirements
- Minimum 4-6 years of hotel sales experience, with a strong record of production and goal achievement
- Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close business at a high level
- Strong knowledge of the Dallas market and key demand drivers
- Results-driven with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify revenue opportunities
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment
Nice to have
- Marriott experience highly preferred
- Experience in group, corporate, or transient sales segments preferred
- Proficient in CRM systems, hotel sales systems (Delphi, FOSSE preferred), and Microsoft Office
Compensation
- Proven track record of achieving $1.5M+ in annual group room revenue production or comparable revenue goals
