About the role
- This position is approved for remote work with occasional visits to Iron Bow's headquarters in Herndon, VA.
- You have experience supporting state and local contract administration in a government contracting environment, preferably supporting SLED and healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Support both prime contract and subcontract administration activities for state and local opportunities and awards.
- Perform first-level contractual review and risk assessment, identifying issues requiring escalation to management or legal counsel.
- Coordinate and manage internal review and approval workflows across Sales, Finance, Services, B&P, Procurement, and leadership teams.
- Review solicitations, bid requests, and contractual documents to identify key contractual obligations, flowdowns, risks, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare contract redlines and support negotiations to help achieve business objectives while appropriately mitigating risk.
- Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation within contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and internal repositories.
- Partner closely with Sales and internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient contract processing and responsive customer support.
- Manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- You have experience reviewing and administering both prime contracts and subcontracts.
- You have working knowledge of cooperative agreements and BAA requirements.
- You are comfortable reviewing contractual terms, identifying risk, and coordinating redlines and approvals with internal stakeholders.
- You are a quick learner who can work independently while exercising sound judgment and escalation awareness.
- Review, draft, negotiate, and administer a variety of agreements, including customer contracts, subcontracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), RFPs, purchase orders, and supplier/vendor agreements.
- Analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including cooperative agreements and BAA requirements.
- Support contract modifications, amendments, extensions, renewals, and other contractual changes as required.
- Ensure timely execution and delivery of contracts, proposals, quotations, and customer communications.
Compensation
- The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000.
- This range reflects the anticipated base pay for the position and is not a guarantee of final compensation.
- Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs.
