About the role

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on expert in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies, with a strong focus on automation and cloud adoption.
This role requires deep technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in a secure, on-site environment.

Own Windows Server/Active Directory (AD) Services (GPO, DNS/DHCP, OU design, patching, monitoring) across production enclaves, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Design, implement, and manage enterprise virtualization platforms, primarily using VMware ESXi, for maximum efficiency and resource utilization.
Architect, deploy, and manage Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions and oversee certificate/TLS lifecycle management across the enterprise.
Perform complex, end-to-end troubleshooting of infrastructure issues, covering networking (TCP/IP, routing, load balancing), identity (Kerberos/LDAP), and application integration.
Document runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and change procedures
We apply modern capabilities, including AI/ML, cloud, cybersecurity, and IT modernization to solve complex challenges, enable faster and more secure operations, and drive measurable mission outcomes.

Bachelor's in computer science, Information Technology, or related field - or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years Server administration
Proficiency in PowerShell for complex administration, reporting, and automation.
Experience with VDI deployments.
Hands-on experience with Solarwinds for enterprise IT infrastructure and environment monitoring.
Experience with Active Directory in production environments.
Deep understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols) and experience with load balancers (e.g., F5/NetScaler).
Proven experience in designing and managing PKI and handling the entire certificate lifecycle.
Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and tools for federal/classified environments (STIG, RMF, NIST).
Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility - Required
