About the role
- North Point Technology is looking to hire a Systems Engineer to join our Strata Systems Engineering team.
- This is an onsite role in Herndon, VA, and requires DEP II access.
- This position involves systems engineering activities supporting Strata deliveries within an Agile SAFe environment.
Responsibilities
- Duties will include developing system architecture, performing requirements analysis, and conducting systems-of-systems verification using ESRI's ArcGIS suite, while ensuring all deliveries meet system requirements and contractual policies.
Requirements
- Recent systems engineering experience
- Experience translating customer requirements into discrete engineering features with clear acceptance criteria
- Proven work with SAFe Agile processes
- Direct experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, or ArcGIS Earth
- final TS required to start
- Bachelor's or Master's in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or GIS
- For positions requiring a federal security clearance, your clearance level must be clearly identified on your resume.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance; final TS required to start
- Security+ or DoD 8140-equivalent certification
Nice to have
- Geospatial Intelligence / NGA customer exposure
- Deploying ArcGIS Enterprise in high-availability (HA) environments
- Red Hat Linux and AWS cloud experience
- Integration of external segments for enterprise capability delivery
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology experience
- Cybersecurity knowledge (vulnerability assessment, mitigations)
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and streaming analytics
