Responsibilities
- Drive pricing strategy.
- Established in 2020 through the acquisition of Pacific Direct Line, the business brought together two of the South Pacific's leading shipping and logistics providers to deliver fully integrated supply chain solutions across the region.
- You'll also manage a P&L budget, ensuring pricing decisions support both customer needs and business objectives.
- Develop and recommend pricing strategies that maximize profitability and support growth.
- Manage accurate and competitive ocean freight quotations and pricing exceptions.
- Maintain tariffs, rate databases, contracts and accessorial pricing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Partner closely with the Commercial and Sales teams, providing market intelligence and pricing support.
- Manage customer enquiries, pricing issues, disputes, contracts and follow-up activities.
Requirements
- Contribute to projects and other commercial initiatives as required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Compensation
- $90,000 to $100,000 and may include a discretionary bonus.
- Final compensation amount will be dependent on skills and experience.
