About the role

  • The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the oversight of facilities including, but not limited to, maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment and vehicles.
  • Complies with company policies related to the safe work practices for the purposes of operating, repairing and maintaining equipment (example: Lock out/tag out procedures).
  • Ensures that all equipment is in safe operating condition to prevent adverse injury due to machine malfunction or breakdown.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts preventative maintenance activities and maintains an appropriate level of inventory for replacement components to keep machinery, buildings, and vehicles in good working condition.
  • Maintains a service and maintenance record of all equipment, buildings, grounds, and vehicles.
  • Maintains a professional work area which is clean and organized.

  • 1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, M-F, flexible, some OT may be required.
  • May have a call from 2nd shift or a Saturday requiring help if a machine goes down.
