About the role

  • Supported technologies include workstations, printers, thermal label printers, laboratory equipment, cameras, and other end-user devices, as well as both commercial and internally developed business applications.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot a wide variety of hardware and software solutions through phone, web, and in-person support channels.
  • Experience managing support requests through an IT service management (ITSM) platform in a corporate environment.

  • The IT Support Technician is responsible for all operational aspects of support functions.
  • While this role will primarily support our Sunnyvale, California operations, an IT Support Technician will also provide assistance to our associates working remotely and globally.
  • This position reports to the IT Support Services Manager (U.S.) and is part of the Information Technology team.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs.

Nice to have

  • CompTIA A+ or comparable certification Experience supporting hardware and software beyond standard office products including lab workstations, lab equipment, and lab software.
  • The hourly range for this role is $33.65 - $40.50/hr.
