About the role
- Facilitates communication between parties who speak two different languages, English and Spanish.
- They will do this by interpreting, translating, and re-communicating both verbal and written messages from one language into another.

Requirements
- Required to demonstrate translation abilities by passing a bilingual test.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work toward a common goal.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Data entry skills.
- Extremely organized.
- Ability to be flexible in a changing environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain routine files, records, and official documents.
- Maintains patient privacy, including protecting the confidentiality, safeguarding the integrity and availability, and limiting the use and disclosure of patient Protected Health Information (PHI) to authorized individuals and entities.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in translation abilities as preferred.
- Previous experience working in the social service field preferred.
Skills
- Must have intermediate knowledge of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
Compensation
- In accordance with California law, the expected pay range for this position is included in this posting.
- The actual compensation will be determined based on factors permitted by law.
- New hires will be offered a salary at the starting point of the range to maintain internal inequity and allow opportunity for future salary growth.
