About the role
- The Commercial Marketing Analyst will be responsible for supporting commercial business development of Chord Energy's midstream assets.
- This individual will also be involved in negotiations with 3rd party midstream companies for crude gathering and produced water gathering and disposal for Chord operated production.
- This position reports directly to the Commercial Midstream Director and is located in downtown Houston, TX.
Responsibilities
- Support the strategic business plan for produced water gathering and disposal, freshwater and reuse of produced water, crude oil gathering, and gas gathering and processing
- Support negotiations with 3rd party producers and midstream companies
- Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd party producers and midstream business partners
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with other Marketing functions, Accounting, Reservoir, Planning, Operations, and other groups
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to work with various internal and external contacts
- Attention to details and timely completion of required tasks
- Ability to properly assess and prioritize multiple concurrent projects

Nice to have
- Commercial negotiations and contract experience
- Experience managing crude oil, gas and water contracts
- Project valuation experience

- Develop reporting tools for data analysis

- Level and salary commensurate with experience.
