About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for multiple production lines based on customer demand forecasts and sales orders.
  • Analyze demand forecasts and collaborate with Sales/Operations Planning (SIOP) to align production plans.
  • Provide support for Planning team to adjust schedules in response to changes in demand, supply constraints, or production disruptions.
  • Identify risks to the schedule and proactively develop mitigation plans. Lead or support continuous improvement and lean initiatives focused on planning accuracy, process efficiency, and cost reduction.
  • Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems to support planning activities. Communicate schedule changes and impacts clearly to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Support new product introductions by integrating them into the production schedule.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings such as S&OP, production review, and capacity planning sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or ASCM/APICS CPIM,CSCP Certification with four (4) to six (6) years experience
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, forecasting tools)
  • With oversight of the master scheduling, capacity planning, and schedule execution, the successful candidate will effectively manage the scheduling of production for each shop area as required.
