About the role
- Company Description MVMT is a film production company based in Brooklyn, New York.
Responsibilities
- We create award-winning narrative films, documentaries, and mixed-media productions in-house and in collaboration with cultural institutions, artists, and non-profit organizations across the nation.
- MVMT is proud to partner with the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA) to create MoCADA Films, a not-for-profit film production entity committed to making films for and about the African Diaspora.
- Developing and scheduling calendar of content releases for short film, music video, commercial, newsletters and other promotional content for MVMT and Terence Nance.
- Organization and maintenance of Google Drive, Crew spreadsheets, Cast spreadsheets
Requirements
- Superior ability to multitask and work independently
- Positive attitude and willingness to do whatever task is required
- Prior experience with Google Drive, spreadsheets, Gmail, MailChimp, Task Rabbit, AirBNB, Banking websites, Zipcar
Nice to have
- S/he will be instrumental in maintaining the organizational and logistical workflow of the organizations development, pre-production and administrative duties.
- The ideal candidate is someone who is on a career track to become a producer for a content production company.
