About the role
- Join a dynamic team as the Assistant Vice President of Deal and Cash Operations, where you will play a critical role in managing private deal investment accounting and operational activities.
- You will have the chance to work closely with various stakeholders, driving efficiency and process improvements while contributing to the success of complex investment transactions.
Responsibilities
- Translate deal documents into accurate accounting records that reflect deal economics and comply with accounting standards, ensuring timely entry into the accounting system.
- Manage cash movements through complex legal entity structures, ensuring proper accounting and compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to fund and close private deal transactions, maintaining cash positioning within tight deadlines.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance the private deal workflow and develop team members through effective training and resource management.
Requirements
- 9-11 years of relevant experience in asset management, investment banking, or financial services.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and formulas.
- Experience with SharePoint, Power BI, SQL, and VBA.
- Demonstrated track record of process improvement and managing complex fund structures.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree required
- CPA certification preferred.
