About the role
- Communicate with customer truck drivers.
- Assign trucks to loading docks and prioritize loading.
- Conduct pre-shipment inspection of bag trucks.
Responsibilities
- Prepare shipping documents.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Requirements
- Must have the ability to read and write and perform basic math at the high school level.
- Other Required Activities:
- Maintain shipment records as required.
- Conduct daily inspection of the work area and report conditions as required.
- Performs all other duties as required by the supervisor or designate.
- Overtime is required.
- Previous forklift driving and equipment operation in a production or warehouse environment is
- desirable.
- Skills Requirement:
- Twisting, kneeling, sitting for periods of time, climbing on and off equipment,
- Walking, signaling, hearing, color differentiation and attention to details.
