About the role
- Ensure the team responds to internal and external communications in a timely and professional manner.
- Act as an escalation point for complex issues involving third-party yards or internal processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for 3rd party yard resources
Responsibilities
- The Senior Operational Support Associate will serve as the lead and provide guidance and support to the Operational Support team while ensuring efficient operational support and inventory management by serving as the primary liaison between internal teams and third-party yard resources.
- This role facilitates the team workload to support timely order releases, maintaining accurate inventory, system records, damage documentation, and claims processing.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for Operational Support Associates, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
- Ship Support materials within 24 hours of receiving pipe tallies from the third-party yard.
- Assist and maintain system work instructions.
- Maintain confidential information pertaining to operations and contract information.
- Develop expertise in the intricacies of one or more functional areas.
- Empowers team members through support and guidance and fosters a collaborative and accountable team culture.
Requirements
- 3 years of related experience, or may possess a degree in combination with experience.
- Possess computer skills to include Microsoft Office and Excel proficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect across all levels of the organization.
