Evaluate non-conforming material and support risk assessment and disposition of the material.
Lead and/or collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure expedited closure of complex product and process quality issues from initiation to closure.
Perform audits of key suppliers, typically within the USA, however, may require international travel.
Collaborate with product, process, design, failure analysis and reliability engineering organizations to drive quality improvements & implementation of quality management system (QMS).
ADI is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support Quality Engineering activities related to Wafer Manufacturing in Beaverton, OR.

Confident in personal technical expertise
Ability to work in a Clean Room Environment.
Excellent knowledge of problem-solving tools like 8D, DMAIC, 5-Why, Fishbone analysis, etc.
Master's degree in Process/Microelectronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years relevant experience or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant experience.
Experience in semiconductor industry functional areas like Quality, Process, Product or Yield engineering.
Strong technical knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes including CMOS and Bipolar device technologies with experience in process and device related defect characterization and failure mechanisms.
Collaborate with procurement and supplier management teams to drive continuous improvement and corrective actions at suppliers as required.

Good knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) in high volume semiconductor manufacturing environment and understanding of risk management using FMEA and Control Plan tools
Quality certifications like ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, CQE, etc.
Familiarity with industry quality standards like IATF16949/ISO9001
