About the role
- Hype & Engagement: Get students excited through interactive games, call-and-response energy, music, and movement.
- Facilitate Workshops & Activities that reinforce the Knowlej values of Re-Engage, Restore, and Reward.
- Customer Service & Event Fulfillment: Set up and break down assembly spaces, distribute rewards, and ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead Knowlej Assemblies across K-12 schools in Los Angeles, delivering high-impact, motivational sessions that range from 30 to 60 minutes.
- Public Speaking: Deliver captivating, youth-centered speeches with passion, clarity, and purpose.
- Support Student Transformation: Be a visible, positive presence in schools that uplifts and encourages youth to stay engaged in school.
- Comfortable with music, hype energy, and building rapport quickly.

Requirements
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Ideal Candidate Traits Former youth leader, coach, teaching artist, or motivational speaker.
Nice to have
- Bilingual candidates (English + Spanish preferred).
