About the role
- A Forward Deployed Engineer works inside the customer's world.
- You join our biggest enterprise deals early, prove the product works before the customer signs, and then turn what you learn into product the whole platform can use.
- Your job is to get new customers to value fast and to bring customer reality back to the rest of the team.
Responsibilities
- Build production feedback loops. Confidence scores, human overrides, and downstream metrics flow back into the product.
- Build reusable integration pieces. What you build for the first customer becomes a setting the next customer can turn on.
- Champion the customer perspective inside the company. Bring what you learn back to product, design, and engineering.
Requirements
- Track record of shipping production systems and making smart trade-offs for speed, reliability, and scale.
- Construction or permitting background is a nice-to-have, not required.
Nice to have
- Experience prototyping on messy, real-world data and systems.
- Work with CRMs, ERPs, or field-ops tools like ServiceTitan, Salesforce, or Procore is a plus.
- Startup or fast-moving team experience preferred.

- Our HQ is in New York City with a hybrid schedule (3 in-office days per week).
