- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS Work is primarily performed in an office environment.
Responsibilities
- Performs complex administrative tasks supporting HR operations, including processing HR transactions, maintaining and security employee records, and preparing documentation for audits and compliance checks.
- Applies pay-setting calculations to support job offers, disseminates government-approved correspondence, and responds to applicant inquires.
- Prepares HR metrics, status updates, and ad-hoc report to support leadership decisions-making and identify workforce trends, such as skill gaps, to inform talent strategies.
- Coordinates logistics for training sessions, maintaining training records, and assists with developing and distributing training materials.
- Helps communicate and implement HR policies and procedures across the organization.
- Manages HR calendars, schedules meetings, and organizes HR-related events to ensure smooth HR operations and employee engagement initiatives.
- The Human Resources Specialist performs a variety of human resources administrative tasks in support of the agency.

Requirements
- T horough knowledge of automated HR/personnel systems such as USA Staffing, eOPF, and the National Finance Center systems.
- Regularly required to sit.
- Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls.
- Required to speak and hear.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Compensation
- The estimated pay range for this role is $70K to $77K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
