The Advanced Solar Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance) in the PEARCE Renewables Solar Operations and Maintenance Division performs tasks involving physical labor at solar energy sites near Huntsville, Alabama.
Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
Ability to train, mentor, and develop laborers into Apprentices.
Travel requirements dependent on support of the company (up to 25% travel).

Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA Standards.
To help you be successful at work, as required for the role, we will provide a company vehicle, phone, laptop, or tablet along with all necessary tools and safety equipment.

Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of Solar Utility and Sub-Station equipment.
Responsible for documentation including, but not limited to, work orders, time logs, inventory control, and emergency information schedules.
Provide a working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical components with help and use of digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps, and similar equipment.
Testing/troubleshooting installed solar equipment and ensuring proper working order.
Must have a strong safety background with experience in Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
Able work in a solo as well as a group environment.
2+ years' experience in Commercial/Industrial operations and maintenance (O&M) on solar power plants is preferred.
Preventative Maintenance experience on Solar Utility equipment is preferred.

$30.00-$42.00 hourly/DOE
