The salary range for this position in New York City, NY is $60,000 - $85,000 annually and the salary range in White Plains, NY is $60,000 - $80,000 annually.

Perform site reconnaissance to observe existing conditions, assess site access for subsurface explorations, and identify important site features.
Monitor subsurface exploration activities (e.g., test borings, geoprobes, and test pits) to collect soil, bedrock, groundwater, and other pertinent information for project design.
Compile, reduce, analyze, manage, and report field, instrumentation, geological, and/or environmental data using spreadsheets and other tools.
Perform historical site review and review applicable regulations, as appropriate.

B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or other related discipline.
M.S. degree welcomed.
Strong computer literacy skills including proficiency in MS Office software.
Ability to travel to temporary assignments across the U.S. Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must have a reliable form of transportation to travel to job sites and the office.

Construction Site Safety training, and NYCDOB Training Connect Site Safety Training Card preferred.

The salary range for this position in New York City, NY is $60,000 - $85,000 annually and the salary range in White Plains, NY is $60,000 - $80,000 annually.

We are currently seeking a Staff Environmental Engineer or Geologist 2 who will work under the direction and supervision of senior staff.
This position entails travel to job sites and working outside of the office setting conducting site and subsurface characterization for environmental and geotechnical projects and/or monitoring contractor's environmental and geotechnical-related activities during construction as well as some associated office-related work.
This is a full-time position located in our New York City, NY or White Plains, NY office.
