About the role
- Participate with the integration of complex REST/SOAP APIs, VA enterprise services, and distributed systems.
- Attend system planning, architecture discussions, and end-to-end software development lifecycle activities.
- Mentor junior-level developers, conduct in-depth code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.
Responsibilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
Requirements
- Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5-8 years of professional software development experience, or equivalent.
- 5-8 years of experience building production-grade applications using React and Redux.
- Experience integrating with REST/SOAP APIs and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Experience in government cloud hosting environments, especially AWS.
- Proficiency with GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
- Familiarity with VA enterprise systems such as CorpDB, MPI, BDN, or VBMS.
- Strong understanding of government networks, cloud infrastructure, and FedRAMP-compliant environments.
Nice to have
- Preferred Skills and Experience Experience supporting the VA, VA.gov platform, or other Federal agencies.
Compensation
- Posted Salary Range USD $105,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Yr.
