About the role
- Through your domain expertise and a deep understanding of our data, your insights and analysis will play a pivotal role in our strategy for this area.
- Apply advanced mathematical, statistical, and computational methods to solve complex fraud and revenue optimization problems
- Share and simplify findings to tell stories of analyses through dashboards, reports, data visualisations, and other internal forums
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth analysis to address key strategic areas in the customer journey, decipher analytical results, and deliver insights using hypothesis testing and experimental design
- Perform ad hoc modelling and analysis to understand broad trends within and across our data, evaluate vendor solutions, and drive our roadmap strategy
- Work closely with other Fraud Strategists, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers to collaborate on areas of opportunity
Requirements
- 5+ years or equivalent in related quantitative analysis experience in a subject area relevant to fraud and payments
- Additional knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Domo, etc.)
- Experience in the video games industry
- Advanced knowledge of fraud trends in digital payments, e-commerce, and online transactions
Nice to have
- Experience with ML/AI models is a plus
Skills
- Language skills, particularly Japanese
Compensation
