About the role

  • Weber Shandwick is seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Copywriter, Healthcare to join our growing creative team.
  • In this role, you'll conceive and write copy for a variety of social platforms, presentations, integrated campaigns and more for healthcare brands shaping culture and conversation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative concepts and copy for a variety of media, including (but not limited to): paid and organic social posts, ads, PR materials, presentations, scripts, gifs, memes, infographics and more
  • Collaborate with art directors, designers, strategists, producers and other team members to bring ideas to life
  • Present your own creative work internally to teammates
  • Assist creative leads in organizing, attending and directing external agency partners in still and video production
  • We embrace creativity and collaboration, and we engage stakeholders in new and creative ways to build brands and reputations.

Requirements

  • Must have a portfolio (may include spec work, college work and creative writing)
  • The ideal candidate is a conceptual thinker and wordsmith with an artistic eye and obsession with grammar and punctuation.
  • Passion for creative writing, social media and digital-first thinking
  • Fluent in the copy specifics of various social platforms including IG, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Reddit, etc
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to strengthen writing and optimize through GEO/SEO
  • Self-motivated, organized and deadline-driven
  • Great sense of humor that translates into meme, gif and social copy
  • In tune with social trends and emerging techniques for storytelling and brand expression
  • Passionate about health and wellness
  • Willingness to push creative boundaries
  • Able to prioritize and manage own time

Compensation

  • $50,000 USD - $55,000 USD
