About the role
- Under the supervision and direction of the Licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant provides effective treatment and clinical activities of physical therapy areas so that effective and optimum quality of patient care is delivered.
- Graduation from a Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure by the Board of Medical Examiners, State of California.
Requirements
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
Nice to have
- One year of professional experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of physical therapy principles and treatment methods.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and proper body mechanics.
