About the role

  • This role is responsible for driving manufacturing productivity by improving process efficiencies, increasing capacity, reducing waste, and improving quality.
  • Key processes in this facility include industrial roofing urethane and asphalt, and adhesive tape.

Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous process improvement activities
  • Identify and implement automation and packaging improvements
  • Utilize financial analysis tools to support plant activities and identify opportunities
  • Support capital projects that range in complexity and scale
  • Develop standardized work procedures
  • Capital project support experience of minimum $100K
  • Process measurement and improvement technique experience and process design experience
  • Ability to develop Standard Operating Procedures

Requirements

  • BS Degree in an Engineering discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience supporting or executing process development projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Proven leadership in process improvements - Lean, Six Sigma, SWOT
  • Familiarity with ISO certification processes
  • Knowledge of Management of Change and PSM programs
  • Track record of leading capital projects exceeding $100K
  • Ability to read & interpret electrical & network diagrams

Compensation

  • The salary for this role is $110,000 - $135,000.
