Requirements
- High School Diploma required or equivalent field experience
- Minimum of 7 years of field leadership experience in road construction and/or large earthmoving projects
- Strong understanding of heavy highway construction methods, practices, and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications
- OSHA training and strong knowledge of jobsite safety standards and regulations
Nice to have
- Experience with DOT projects and compliance standards preferred
Compensation
- Competitive base salary ($130,000 - $170,000)

- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced field operations leader to join our client's team as a Heavy Highway Superintendent.
- The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing daily field operations, coordinating crews and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project schedules and specifications.
- This role requires a hands-on leader with strong field presence and the ability to manage complex earthmoving and roadway construction activities.
- Project scope includes highway widening and infrastructure work such as excavation, embankment, storm drainage, waterline installation, crushed stone placement, and blasting.
