Responsibilities
- Implement assessment and work readiness training curriculum coupled with soft skills curriculum.
- Coordinates eligibility for local and state agencies to provide a seamless system of support
- Maintains regular contact with funding sources and writes and sends all reports
- Maintains regular contact with all partners
- Responsible for developing and conducting structured dialogue with trainees
- Implements individualized person-centered teaching plans.
- Provides job coaching supports as needed
Requirements
- Maintains appropriate attendance and other required records.
Nice to have
- Valid NYS driver's license preferred.

Compensation
- $50,000 per year plus a very generous and comprehensive Benefit Package.
- Under the direction of the Program Director/ Program Coordinator, the Skills Instructor makes an active and organized effort to maximize each participant's development and well-being by implementing individualized program plans, integrating the services received, and recording ongoing progress.
- The program assesses, trains and places individuals with Intellectual and Development Disabilities.
