About the role

  • Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), is looking for a Sr.
  • Inventory Handler to join our team in Springfield, MA.
  • Notifies Purchasing Agents and Inventory Control Coordinators of all discrepancies, including shortages, over-shipments, or damage to supplies, equipment, and materials, documenting all issues and forwards to the Manager for resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the commissary quality control program for incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy, product integrity, and appropriate follow-up with staff and Manager.
  • Meets routinely with department managers to maintain and/or adjust par levels to provide sufficient supply availability while minimizing inventory investment, ensuring appropriate fiscal responsibility

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET required.
  • ServSafe Certification required.
  • GED or HiSET (Required)

Compensation
